See the Revs!

Continuing our tradition over Memorial Day weekend in conjunction with the Needham and Wellesley tournaments, Far Post has reserved tickets for the New England Revolution game on Saturday night.   Over 260 Far Posters attended last year’s game - all sitting in the same section. It was a great event, and we were all able to see Freddy Adu play! This year, the Revs are playing the Colorado Rapids on this weekend. We would love to see a SEA of ORANGE at Gillette Stadium once again!

Rumor has it that there could be a "high profile" match prior to Revolution/Rapids game.  If this becomes a reality ticket prices will sky-rocket.

So, if you are interested in getting tickets to this game, whether there is a second game or not, our deadline to respond is March 1 – firm.  By responding by this date, we can lock in the price of the tickets.  The cost for the tickets will be $26 (normally $32 ~ if we wait and there is a second game, we can expect the ticket price to double, maybe even triple.)

If you’d like tickets to the Revs vs Rapids, please contact Todd Kingsbury in the Far Post office via e-mail at todd@farpostsoccerclub.com or 863-8161, no later than March 1.

Far Post Leaders Begin Strategic Planning Process

Far Post’s Board of Directors and Staff began a Strategic Planning process on Saturday February 5.  Under the direction of facilitator, Kathy Cadwell, Program Consultant, a Founder of Project Harmony and “Far Post mom” to Celia (U13 Girls), the group brainstormed on the Core Values of the Far Post organization and shared their visions of the Club in the next five to ten years.  Several follow-up sessions will be held over the next few months to continue the process.

Bad Weather?  Play Soccer!

Recent winter weather has prompted many phone calls regarding potential cancellation of Far Post programs.  Due to the nature of our complicated indoor schedule and all the parties involved, we continue to hold all programs as planned.  If you are unable to make it due to inclement weather, we understand.  For those who wish to challenge Mother Nature and make the trip, we’ll be here!
