July 20 ~ Far Post Night at the Voltage!

Mark your calendars ~ Plan ahead!  July 20 is Far Post night at the Vermont Voltage!  The evening’s match features the Voltage up against the Vermont All-Stars, selected from the various VASL (Vermont Amateur Soccer League) teams.  A match of this caliber is guaranteed excitement!  Kick-off is 7:30 p.m. at the Collins Perley complex in St. Albans .

The Voltage are 6-4 thus far this season in the Northeastern Division of the Premier Development League (PDL).  PDL is affiliated with the United Soccer Leagues, a nationwide soccer organization containing over 100 men's, women's and youth teams split into five leagues. The PDL is considered by the United States Soccer Federation as a fourth division, below Major League Soccer, the A-League, and the D3 Pro League. The PDL allows high school and college players to compete in a "pro"-like environment without losing their college eligibility.
The Lady Voltage are currently 4-5-0 in their inaugural season and are tied at 12 points with the Ottawa Fury in the Northern Division of the W-League. The W-league is the highest level of women’s soccer in the country.  The Lady Voltage roster includes five national team players as well as gold medallist Kristin Luckenbill.  Also playing for the Lady Voltage, is Far Post U17/18 player Ashley Pfaff.
