Final Weekend of Tryouts

This weekend marks the final weekend of travel team tryouts for Far Posts U10 through U14 age groups.  The first round of tryouts were held Saturday and Sunday, September 10 & 11.  Players that missed last weekend should plan to attend this weekend.  If you have further conflicts, please contact Todd Kingsbury at todd@farpostsoccerclub.com or 863-8161.  See the schedule for times.  All tryouts are at Farrell Park, off Swift Street, in South Burlington .

We want to be sure that all parents and players are aware of our plans to send results electronically to the e-mail addresses we have on file.  The acceptance process will be handled electronically as well.  Families that prefer to be notified by U. S. Mail should let us know at tryouts so a notation can be made on the player tryout registration form.  Any e-mail updates, changes of address or other contact data should be provided to us this weekend as well or sent to admin@farpostsoccerclub.com.

A brief handout, “Tryouts Update ~ 2005-2006,” was distributed at tryouts.  It outlined the new tryout notification process as well as Far Post’s new online registration system (eRegister), updated financial policies and Futsal league dates for the upcoming season.  If you did not receive the handout be sure to pick one up this weekend.

Families that would like detailed information on the Travel Team program may review the Parent-Player Manual from the Travel Team home page on the website.  This document outlines all aspects of the program, from costs to time commitment.
