ODP
News
We've just
received word that Ethan
Harlow (U14) has been
selected to participate in an Interregional Olympic Development Program (ODP)
Event in
Austin
,
TX
over the Thanksgiving Weekend. He
will be playing for the Region I team against the best players from Regions Two,
Three and Four at this event.
ODP
is a national identification and developmental program for high level soccer
players. The program identifies and develops youth players throughout the
country to represent their state, region and the
United States
in soccer competition. Players are selected on the basis of open tryouts as
well as recruited by ODP staff coaches.
Ethan participated in
Vermont ’s ODP team last summer where he was selected to participate in the
Region
I Olympic Development Program Player Pool (see:
http://www.farpostsoccerclub.com/News/Archive/2005-07-29.htm).
Region I includes players from Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland,
Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island,
Vermont, Virginia and West Virginia.
