The Soccer Center Updates
Congratulations to all teams
for a successful first session. Kudos to the champions!
Visit the standings pages for playoff results!
Futsal
& 7v7 Session II: most
leagues begin right after the New Year Holiday. Monitor the
website for
schedule information. To
find your team's schedule:
-
Go
to:
www.thesoccercenter.org.
-
Click
on the LARGE ORANGE "Schedules, Scores and
Standings" button right on the front page
of The Soccer Center website.
- Click on Futsal
(or 7v7 if your team is entered in that division)
- Click on the
‘league’ button on the left hand side of the screen for the appropriate
age-group bracket
Note that
there are dates when the facility is closed due to prior commitments of
Champlain Valley Exposition. If you have not already done so, please make your
payment for session II so your team will be guaranteed its spot on the
schedule. All teams/players must be paid in order to play.
Special
Request: We welcome the younger
siblings of our players into the facility at all times. However, parents are
respectfully requested to accompany guest children, and children are asked to
remain with their parents. There is a growing concern over the safety of
unattended children in the building ~ climbing on the railings, kicking doors
which could subsequently be damaged and injure the child; pulling on goal nets,
etc. In addition, there has been some recent damage to the facility which will
result in an added expense to The Soccer Center. A few additional reminders:
- No wet shoes on the turf.
- No food, drink, gum on the turf.
- No bouncing balls against any of the
walls in The Soccer Center.
- The turf is the ONLY playing area.
- All players must check in prior to each
game.
We appreciate everyone’s assistance in these
areas.
Last
Call ~ Lost & Found!
There is a growing ‘pile’ of items left behind by players following league play
and indoor training! Please visit the Lost and Found table to the left of the
North Building’s entrance to claim your items! All unclaimed items will be
discarded at the end of the month!
