you have any soccer equipment that you would like to donate to a worthwhile
cause? Can you get them to the Far Post office by February 9, 2007. If so,
your assistance and donation is greatly appreciated.
| Wendy
Elles,
Far Post Soccer Club’s Education Program Director, will be traveling to
Tanzania, Africa to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, experience a jungle safari,
and spend some days at Mama India's Orphanage in Rift Valley Children’s
Village (www.tanzanianchildrensfund.org).
Lindsay
Hawley of the U14 Girl’s team will be traveling to Batey Libertad (www.bateylibertad.org)
in the Dominican Republic to visit underprivileged soccer players
through the Grass Roots Soccer Organization (www.grassrootsoccer.org).
|

It’s not too early to think about Session III! We are anticipating all
leagues to be filled to capacity. Therefore, it’s critical that all teams are
registered and PAID IN FULL by the deadline date of February 20. Take a look at
the game dates for your age bracket for session III (go to
www.thesoccercenter.org;
click on
Futsal;
click on Session III) and determine your availability and notify your
team manager. Consider playing in a
7v7 league as well! Playing in session III
is a very important preparation for the outdoor season. All Far Post players
are encouraged to participate. Kindly try to avoid signing up then dropping out
at the last minute as this results in your team manager having to re-price the
fee to the participating players. Please assist your team manager by
