Joe Bergeron

 Joe has been involved with the Far Post Soccer Club since its founding in 1996 and on the board in various capacities since its current inception. He was involved in the transition of the organization from its prior management and re-structuring of the Club with its current management and into a non-profit form. In April of 2008, Joe stepped down as Chairman of the Board after eight years in that position.  In addition to his duties on the board of directors, he is responsible for the design of the original Far Post website and maintained it on a voluntary basis for many years.

 Joe is President of the Association of Vermont Credit Unions (formerly known as Vermont Credit Union League), the state trade association for Vermont's credit unions and their 260,000 members. He lives in Colchester with his wife Paulette and has two sons; Daniel and Christopher, both Far Post graduates.
