 Wendy brings a vast knowledge of the game to Far Post Soccer Club (FPSC). She has been coaching soccer for over 10 years at the club and college level.  She has coached for FPSC for nearly five years as the head coach of many girls� teams and a staff trainer for the club�s educational programs. Within the club, she was active in developing the Strive for Excellence and Juniors program.

 Prior to coaching, Wendy was a highly decorated soccer player at Gettysburg College earning Commonwealth Conference Player of the Year & NSCAA All-America honors as a senior.  The first player to be named to the First Team all Conference all four years, Wendy lead her team to three NCAA appearances and a ranking as high as 4 in 1995. After graduating from Gettysburg College with a degree in sociology, she continued her soccer career as both a coach and player joining the Fairleigh Dickinson University staff in New Jersey as an assistant for the women�s soccer and basketball teams & head recruiter for the women�s soccer, women�s basketball and men�s soccer teams. She enjoyed two seasons playing in the WUSA Soccer League with the New Jersey Wildcats.

 Wendy has been active in Vermont soccer beginning as an Assistant Soccer Coach at the University of Vermont in 1997.   During her time as the Assistant, she earned a master of education degree, coached at a variety of northeast summer camps, and joined the Far Post Soccer Club.  While coaching at UVM, Wendy began and ran the first TOPSoccer program in Vermont & coached with the Olympic Development ProgramSince her departure from UVM, she has worked at the Vermont Soccer Association, been an active member with FPSC, and continues to coach and play in the Vermont Amateur Soccer League (VASL).  Wendy has earned her Premier Coaching Diploma from the NSCAA and is the only active female coach in the state with such accolade. 

 Beginning in the Fall of 2006, Wendy will be an Assistant Women�s Soccer Coach for Endicott College in Beverly, MA (part-time) and will assume the position of Far Post's Education Program Director.  She'll also serve as Head Coach for the U11 Girls Team and Co-Coach of the U16 Girls First Team.
