WELLESLEY INVITATIONAL U10 TOURNAMENT

Both the boys and girls U10 teams went undefeated at Wellesley, as they were all friendly matches and ended 0-0!

NEEDHAM INVITATIONAL MEMORIAL DAY TOURNAMENT

 Far Post teams experienced great success in Needham, with ten teams advancing to playoffs and three teams ~ the U12 Girls Orange, U16 Boys First and U19 Boys ~ bringing home championship trophies in their respective age divisions.  Click on each Team Name below to see results as posted on the Needham website.  Additional notes and photos have been submitted by some team managers/coaches.  Attention:  Team Reporters ~ feel free to submit further highlights and photos to admin@farpostsoccerclub.com and we'll update these pages!

  • Undefeated.  Scored 23 Goals.  3 goals against. 

  • Far Post  3 ~ Maine Black Bear  0

  • Far Post 12 ~ Grasshoppers 1

  • Far Post  5 ~ Capital 1

  • Far Post  3 ~ Odyssey 1

U12 Boys First Team finished @ 2-1, but just missed out of a semifinal slot by goals allowed.  They finished runner-up in their group, with a strong 3-0 win on Sunday afternoon in what turned out to be their final game.  The U12 Development boys met with more of a challenge but all the U12ers played great!

The U13 Boys First Team had a record of 0-2-1 in the premier division.

  • U13 GIRLS FIRST
     

    • Won 3-1 vs. Scorpions (Jacobs, Ranaldo, Feeney)

    • Lost 4-3 vs. Sachems (Feeney, Flaherty, Dayton)

    • Won 2-1 vs. Greater Boston Bolts (Flaherty, Dayton)

    • Tied for 1st in group but did not advance to semi-finals due to head to head loss to Sachems.

  • U14 BOYS DEVELOPMENT

    The U14 Boys Development team finished runner-up in their group.
     

  • U14 GIRLS DEVELOPMENT
     

  • U14 BOYS FIRST

    The U14 Boys won all the games in their group and advanced to the semi-finals.  Lost 2-1 to the Smithtown Kickers Sonic from Long Island.
     

  • U14 GIRLS FIRST

The U14 Girls advanced to the semi's before getting beat by FC Puma....2 wins and 1 loss (which was a 1-0 game) before losing in the semi-final match.

The U15 Boys Development Team advanced to the semis with a record of 2 wins, 1 loss, 0 ties, but lost in the semis to Rochester Junior Rhinos.

The U15 Boys won all the games in their group and advanced to the semi-finals.  Lost 3-1 to the Rochester Junior Rhinos.

The U16 Girls won 3 first round games.  Lost to Odyssey 1-0 in semis.
