ALL players must register for tryouts so that we have your contact info in our database for info on tryout changes as well as notification on your placement.
To get a sense of what each age group's schedule will look like for the year, please visit the 'Teams' tab and select a specific age group.
Want an evaluation for placement on one of our teams before August? Contact admin@farpostsoccerclub.com.
This year's tryouts will be the week of August 3rd. There are two dates for all U11s and older. While we don't require players go to both tryout dates for their age group, we certainly encourage it. An hour and a half is not always long enough for us to get to know you as a player.
Dates/times for each tryout can be found below.

*ALL Players must register for tryouts, even if you are unable to attend your tryout date(s).
We do not make any cuts for our U10 Boys or Girls teams, so you will note this isn't a true tryout. We will hold a play date and informational session for all players born in the years 2011 and 2012 so that you can really get a sense of what joining Far Post would be like. Coach Todd Kingsbury--our U10 Program Director--will lead both groups, but boys and girls will be separated by gender. Following the session, families will be sent a welcome packet with details on how to sign up.

We will hold 2 formal tryouts for each of these age groups. We will select a 2009 and 2010 Premier team on both the boys and girls sides. We intend to have an 09/10 Club team for both genders as well. Unfortunately, we may need to make some cuts at these age groups depending on numbers.

We will hold 2 formal tryout for each of these age groups. Our plan is to select a 2005 and 2006 Premier team on both the boys and girls sides, although once players get to high school the teams and opportunities are always more fluid. Should we have the numbers and interest, we will offer a combined 04/05/06 club team at this age as well.

We will hold 2 tryouts for each gender in these age groups. We have revamped the schedule and structure for our oldest players in order to enhance their playing experience, complement their high school seasons, and better prepare for showcases. Our plan is to select 2 teams for the 3 birth years on both the boys and girls sides, although once players get to high school the teams and opportunities are always more fluid. We do not plan on having club teams for players born in 2003 or older.

Notes Regarding our Travel Team Tuition Structure for the 2020/2021 Season:
Total Tuition: No increase, same as last year.
Club Deposit 1: Deposit 1 secures your spot on the team.
Club Deposit 2: Deposit 2 is structured to reflect the uncertainty of the coming year. In winter, we will re-evaluate our intended programming in light of then-current conditions. If it does not look like we will be able to provide our intended programming, we will not charge for it.
Monthly Installments: Have been kept low to help families' monthly budgets.
Coronavirus and Far Post
The COVID-19 global pandemic brought many challenges to the world in general and the world of sports in Vermont. We are planning for the best, where the coming year proceeds as normal. However, with so much unknown about the future of the virus, we are making contingency plans in the event that we need to change paths. Our 2020/2021 Tuition Payment Structure reflects one aspect of our preparation and planning.
